On 05/15/2013, members of the Saraland Police Department Narcotics Unit arrested Vernon K. Collier 27 from Eight Mile, AL on the charges of Altering Identity of a Firearm, No Pistol Permit, and Terrorist Threats. Collier was also wanted on six (6) traffic warrants. The arrest is the result of a traffic stop during which Collier was found to be in possession of a firearm that had the serial numbers removed and did not possess a pistol permit.
On 05/13/2013 members of the Saraland Police Department Patrol Division Arrested Eric N. Young 37, from Mobile, AL on the charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The arrest is the result of a traffic stop during which Young was found to be in possession of several controlled substances (meth, xanax, lortab, and methadone) and drug paraphernalia.
On 05/10/2013 members of the Saraland Police Department Patrol Division arrested Brandi A. Smiley 20 from Mobile, AL on the charge of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. The arrest is the result of a complaint in which Smiley was suspected of shoplifting and during the investigation was found to be in possession of a controlled substance (xanax).
On 05/12/2013, members of the Saraland Police Department Patrol Division and Criminal Investigation Division arrested Alexander L. Rodgers 24, from Eight Mile, AL and Lisa Lenora Lee 24, from Semmes, AL on the charges of three (3) counts each of Burglary 3rd Degree and one (1) count each of Unlawful Possession of Burglary Tools. The arrest is the result of an investigation during which Rodgers and Lee were in possession of appliances and household fixtures that they had stole out of three (3) homes which are under construction.

Weaver 56, Eight Mile, AL on the charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The arrested is the result of a traffic stop during with Police seized a controlled substance (crack cocaine) and drug paraphernalia.
On 05/05/2013 members of the Saraland Police Department Patrol Division and Criminal Investigation Division arrested Bobby R. Jordan Jr. 28 from Saraland, AL on the charge of Attempted Murder. The arrest is the result of an investigation during which Jordan physically assaulted a one (1) year old toddler that was in his care. The toddler suffered head trauma and other injuries. The toddler’s mother Brittney L. Peppers 23 from Creola, AL was also arrested on the charge of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
On 05/04/2013, members of the Saraland Police Department Patrol Division arrested Steven D. Dial 36, from Whistler, AL, Roderick D. Dixon 29 also from Whistler, AL and James F. Fisher 39, from Mobile, AL on the charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Dixon was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree. The arrests are the result of a traffic stop during which Police seized a controlled substance (crack cocaine) and marijuana.
On 05/02/2013, members of the Saraland Police Department Special Operations Unit arrested Zynielle K. Fagin 26 from Eight Mile, AL on the charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree. The arrest is the result of a traffic stop during which Fagin had in her possession a controlled substance (synthetic marijuana) and marijuana.

Morgan 28, from Eight Mile, AL. on the charges of Unlawful Manufacture of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Trafficking Methamphetamine, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The arrests are the result of a traffic stop during which Police seized the components of an inactive meth lab, a controlled substance (meth), and drug paraphernalia.
On 04/26/2013, members of the Saraland Police Department Criminal Investigation Division arrested Daundria L. Webb 22 from Mobile, AL on the charge of Robbery 1st Degree. The arrest is the result of an investigation following the robbery of the Trustmark Bank on 04/24/2013 in Saraland, Alabama. Webb was arrested for her involvement in the robbery.
